Sunday night the 18th we enjoyed a Beatles tribute band called "1964 The Tribute" at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH. Their resemblance to the Beatles in both sound and appearance were amazing!!! They dressed just like the Beatles did when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show complete with the pointy boots. They also used vintage equipment. You can see the amps and speakers by the drummer. Nothing wireless here including the microphones. Since it was kind of dark in the theatre the picture is kind of blurry. Here is their website if you are interested in learning more about them or seeing their schedule http://www.1964thetribute.com/ . It was a great show and well worth it! What a great step back in time!
Here is a video taken at the concert. Just click on the play arrow at the lower left to watch it play. Some of it is kind of dark because we were trying to get a shot of the interior of this theatre that was opened in 1915. It was cool. Check out Paul McCartney playing the bass left handed on the left and John Lennon on the right playing the harmonica while playing the guitar. George Harrison has a solo guitar part in the middle and of Ringo on the drums. Enjoy the Beatles music anyway from 1964 the Tribute!
The Saturday before Christmas we had a nice snowfall and Marty forgot that she lives in a condominium and that she doesn't have to do this kind of stuff any longer. Caught her in action on video!! Check it out!!
Now, let's turn the clock back to the end of July when Josh visited us after he completed his Missionary service in Brazil.
We had a great time with him. We visited some historical spots the USS Constitution (Old Iron Sides) docked in the Naval Shipyard in Boston harbor.
Marty took her turn taking aim with one of the cannons on the USS Constituion. She's a real Annie Oakley when it comes to shootin' guns.
You should see her with our BB gun!!
Here comes the storm from downtown Boston. The white steeple in the middle is the Old North Church where the signal was given that "the British are coming".

We just had to get to Cheers for some eats!!

We made the trip to the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachussetts. None of us ever saw ourselves being there.

He's just too sexy for his sun glasses??!?!?!?!
David Robinson's San Antonio Spurs jersey. Pretty cool!!

Josh's foot on Shaquille O'Neal's foot print. Josh has some growing to do!!
Josh and Roger got to go for a motorcycle ride. Here is a self portrait of Josh and he got a shot of the cockpit. Below he takes of video and snags Roger going through a yellow light. Josh promised not to use it against him....that remains to be seen.
They had a great ride but eventually ended up putting on the rain gear.
